CVE-2017-17066 is a buffer over-read vulnerability affecting i2pd before version 2.17 and Kovri pre-alpha implementations of the I2P routing protocol. Remote attackers can exploit this by sending crafted Garlic DeliveryTypeTunnel packets, leading to the disclosure of sensitive information from process memory, such as router memory. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is network-exploitable with low complexity and no user interaction, resulting in high confidentiality impact.
