CVE-2017-15655 describes multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities in the HTTPd server of Asus asuswrt firmware versions <=3.0.0.4.376.X, affecting various Asus routers. This critical vulnerability (CVSS 9.6) allows for Remote Code Execution (RCE) with administrator privileges when an administrator visits specific web pages, requiring user interaction but with low attack complexity. While fixed in version 3.0.0.4.378, many end-of-life routers remain vulnerable.
