CVE-2017-15349 describes a memory leak vulnerability in multiple Huawei CloudEngine switch series (12800, 5800, 6800, 7800). An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted Resource ReServation Protocol (RSVP) packets. This leads to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition as the affected devices fail to properly release memory. Rated with a CVSS v3 score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction required. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
