CVE-2017-14943 is an information disclosure vulnerability affecting Trapeze TransitMaster software, which is used by various municipal transit systems. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by manipulating the userID field in JSON data sent to ManageSubscriber.aspx/GetSubscriber, leading to the disclosure of sensitive information such as emails and hashed passwords. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network without user interaction and can result in a complete compromise of confidentiality.
