CVE-2017-12267 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in the Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) accelerator feature of Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) and Virtual WAAS (vWAAS). An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this by sending crafted ICA traffic, causing an ICA optimization process to restart and resulting in a partial DoS condition. Rated Medium severity (CVSS 5.3), this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and no confidentiality or integrity impact, only availability. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
