CVE-2017-11496 is a critical stack buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Gemalto ACC (Admin Control Center) versions from HASP SRM 2.10 to Sentinel LDK 7.50. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted ASN.1 streams within V2C or similar input files. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its high severity, there is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), and it is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog, nor is there any significant community discussion or media coverage indicating active exploitation.
