CVE-2017-11344 describes a global buffer overflow in the networkmap component of Asuswrt-Merlin firmware and various ASUS router firmware versions. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to write shellcode to arbitrary heap addresses, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution on affected routers. The attack involves hosting a specially crafted XML document at a URL specified in an SSDP response's Location header.
