CVE-2017-10668

20
FAUCET Score

CVE-2017-10668 describes a Padding Oracle vulnerability in OSCI-Transport 1.2, affecting OSCI Transport Library 1.6.1 (Java) and 1.6 (.NET). This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.9) allows an attacker, under a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) condition within the OSCI infrastructure, to decrypt transport encryption by analyzing CBC mode padding with crafted protocol messages. While it has a high confidentiality impact, exploitation requires high attack complexity and no user interaction. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
