An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted, long query name (qname), leading to high CPU consumption on the backend. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, potentially causing significant service disruption.
