CVE-2016-4359 describes a critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the mchan.dll agent component of HPE LoadRunner and Performance Center across multiple versions. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted, long -server_name value. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is highly severe, requiring no user interaction or authentication, and can lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its critical severity, there is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
