CVE-2016-1321 affects Cisco Universal Small Cell devices running firmware R2.12 through R3.5. The vulnerability stems from an image-decryption key stored in flash memory, allowing remote attackers to bypass certificate validation. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.8) permits attackers to obtain sensitive firmware image and IP address data via a request to a Cisco server, with no user interaction required. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
