CVE-2016-10529 describes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Droppy versions prior to 3.5.0, affecting the droppy_project droppy software. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to craft a malicious webpage that can send unauthorized websocket requests on behalf of a logged-in user. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable via a user interaction and can lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, such as creating new admin accounts or deleting existing ones. Despite its high severity, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
