CVE-2016-0783 describes a predictable password reset token vulnerability in Apache OpenMeetings versions prior to 3.1.1. This flaw allows remote attackers to reset arbitrary user passwords by knowing a username and the system time, due to the sendHashByUser function generating easily guessable tokens. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, potentially leading to unauthorized access to user accounts. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
