CVE-2016-0779 describes a critical deserialization vulnerability in the EjbObjectInputStream class of Apache TomEE versions prior to 1.7.4 and 7.0.0-M3. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted serialized object. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its high severity, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
