CVE-2015-3292 describes a critical vulnerability in NetApp OnCommand Workflow Automation versions prior to 2.2.1P1 and 3.0P1. The installer inadvertently enabled the Java Debugging Wire Protocol (JDWP) service, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity and no authentication, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While not on the CISA KEV catalog, a Metasploit module (EDB-33789) exists for this vulnerability, indicating readily available exploit code, despite minimal community discussion or media coverage.
