This flaw allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service by sending a large number of specially crafted X.509 certificates, leading to excessive memory consumption. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, resulting in a complete loss of availability.
