CVE-2014-3788 describes a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the Web Server component of Cogent Real-Time Systems Cogent DataHub versions prior to 7.3.5. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted request containing a negative value in the Content-Length field. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network without authentication, potentially leading to partial compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
