CVE-2013-7441

CVE-2013-7441 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Network Block Device (nbd-server) versions 2.9.22 through 3.3. This flaw allows remote attackers to terminate the root nbd-server process by either prematurely closing a connection during negotiation or requesting a non-existent export. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability for the affected service.
