CVE-2013-5546 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in Cisco IOS XE versions 3.7 before 3.7.3S and 3.8 before 3.8.1S on ASR 1000 series devices. Remote attackers can trigger a device reload by sending large TCP packets that are processed by the NAT or ALG components, exploiting a flaw in the TCP reassembly feature. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability.
