CVE-2013-5135 describes a format string vulnerability in the Screen Sharing Server of Apple Mac OS X (before 10.9) and Apple Remote Desktop (before 3.5.4). This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by injecting format string specifiers into a VNC username. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is considered high severity, enabling complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability with low attack complexity.
