Remote attackers can exploit this by creating nonstandard Bitcoin transactions with multiple OP_CHECKSIG opcodes, forcing the victim's system to consume excessive electricity during block mining. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete denial of service.
