CVE-2011-5096 describes a critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the cstore.exe component of Avaya Aura Application Server 5300 (formerly Nortel Media Application Server) versions 1.x before 1.0.2 and 2.0 before Patch Bundle 10. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted CONTENT_STORE_ADMIN_REQ packet with a malicious cs_anams parameter. The vulnerability carries a maximum CVSS score of 10.0, indicating severe impact with complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
