38
FAUCET Score

CVE-2011-5006 describes a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in QQPlayer version 3.2.845. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying a specially crafted PnSize value within a MOV file. With a CVSS score of 9.3, this vulnerability is considered critical due to its network-based attack vector, medium attack complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While not currently on the CISA KEV catalog or showing active exploitation, a Metasploit module exists (EDB-18137) demonstrating an ASLR and DEP bypass, indicating a high potential for exploitation.
