CVE-2011-2763 is a critical command injection vulnerability affecting the web interface of LifeSize Room appliance software versions LS_RM1_3.5.3 (11) and 4.7.18. Remote attackers can exploit this flaw by sending a modified request to the LSRoom_Remoting.doCommand function in gateway.php, enabling arbitrary command execution. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity and no authentication, potentially leading to full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While not currently on the KEV catalog or showing active community discussion, a Metasploit module (EDB-17743) exists, indicating readily available exploit code.
