CVE-2011-2730

CVE-2011-2730 describes an Expression Language (EL) Injection vulnerability in VMware SpringSource Spring Framework versions prior to 2.5.6.SEC03, 2.5.7.SR023, and 3.0.6. This flaw allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information due to EL expressions in certain Spring tags being evaluated twice when the container supports EL. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is considered highly severe, allowing for potential compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability with low attack complexity and no authentication required.
