CVE-2011-1741

31
FAUCET Score

CVE-2011-1741 describes a critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in ftserver.exe, a component of the OpenText Hummingbird Client Connector used in EMC Documentum eRoom 7.x before 7.4.3.f and other products. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted TCP message. With a CVSS score of 10.0, it represents a severe risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its high severity and FAUCET Risk Score of 95/100, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
