CVE-2010-3654

83
FAUCET Score

CVE-2010-3654 is a critical memory corruption vulnerability affecting Adobe Flash Player versions before 9.0.289.0 and 10.x before 10.1.102.64 on various operating systems, as well as authplay.dll in Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.x. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service through specially crafted SWF content. With a CVSS score of 9.3, it represents a severe risk due to its network-based attack vector, medium complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The vulnerability was actively exploited in the wild in October 2010, and public exploit code, including Metasploit modules, is available, despite a lack of significant community discussion or media coverage.
