CVE-2010-2468 describes a critical vulnerability in S2 Security NetBox 2.x and 3.x, Linear eMerge 50/5000, and Sonitrol eAccess systems, where a weak hashing algorithm is used for storing the Administrator password. This flaw allows unauthenticated, network-based attackers to easily recover the cleartext password, leading to complete compromise of the system with a CVSS score of 10.0.
