CVE-2010-1866

43
FAUCET Score

CVE-2010-1866 is a critical integer overflow vulnerability in the dechunk filter of PHP versions 5.3 through 5.3.2, affecting various openSUSE and SUSE Linux Enterprise products. This flaw allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and potentially memory corruption by sending a specially crafted HTTP chunked encoding stream with a negative chunk size. With a CVSS score of 9.8, it is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While not currently on CISA's KEV catalog, an ExploitDB entry exists, and there is no evidence of active widespread exploitation or significant community discussion.
