49
FAUCET Score

CVE-2010-0359 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in the SSLv2 support of Zeus Web Server versions prior to 4.3r5. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to trigger a denial of service by crashing the daemon or potentially execute arbitrary code through a crafted, long string within an invalid Client Hello message. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no authentication required, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While not currently on the KEV catalog or Hot List, a proof-of-concept exploit is publicly available on ExploitDB, though there is minimal community discussion or media coverage surrounding this decade-old vulnerability.
