81
FAUCET Score

CVE-2009-0920 describes a stack-based buffer overflow in the Toolbar.exe component of HP OpenView Network Node Manager (OV NNM) versions 7.01, 7.51, and 7.53. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted, long OvOSLocale cookie. With a CVSS score of 7.5, it is considered highly severe due to its network attack vector, low attack complexity, and potential for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While not listed on CISA's KEV catalog, a Metasploit module and an ExploitDB entry exist, indicating readily available exploit code, though there is no evidence of widespread active exploitation or significant community discussion.
