CVE-2008-6558

CVE-2008-6558 describes an untrusted search path vulnerability in the hvdisp and rcvm components of ReliantHA 1.1.4 on SCO UnixWare 7.1.4. This flaw allows a local attacker to gain root privileges by manipulating the RELIANT_PATH environment variable to execute a malicious program. With a CVSS score of 7.2 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable locally with low attack complexity, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
