CVE-2008-3685 describes a critical directory traversal vulnerability in the aws_tmxn.exe component of the Admin Agent service within EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender Workflow, potentially affecting versions 5.40 SP1 and earlier. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to upload arbitrary files and execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted requests containing directory traversal sequences to TCP port 2606.
