CVE-2008-3533 is a critical format string vulnerability in the yelp-window.c function of Yelp in Gnome versions after 2.19.90 and before 2.24. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying format string specifiers within an invalid URI, particularly when Yelp is invoked by applications like Firefox or Evolution. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no authentication required, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
