CVE-2008-1331 is a critical remote command execution vulnerability affecting Alcatel OmniPCX Office systems, specifically versions OXO210 before 210/091.001 and OXO600 before 610/014.001. Attackers can exploit this flaw by injecting shell metacharacters into the id2 parameter of the cgi-data/FastJSData.cgi script, allowing them to execute arbitrary commands and gain full control over OXO resources. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While not currently on the CISA KEV catalog or showing active widespread exploitation, public exploit code exists, including an ExploitDB entry, indicating its potential for targeted attacks.
