CVE-2008-1322

CVE-2008-1322 describes an argument injection vulnerability in the File Check Utility (fcheck.exe) within ASG-Sentry Network Manager version 7.0.0 and earlier. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to trigger a denial of service by causing high CPU consumption or overwrite arbitrary files by manipulating query strings with the -b option. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability.
