CVE-2008-1167 describes a critical stack-based buffer overflow in the useragent function of Squid Analysis Report Generator (Sarg) version 2.2.3.1. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a crafted, long User-Agent header to a Squid proxy server. With a CVSS score of 10.0, it presents a severe risk of complete compromise (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) with low attack complexity and no authentication required.
