CVE-2008-0356 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in the Independent Management Architecture (IMA) service of Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and earlier, Access Essentials 2.0 and earlier, and Desktop Server 1.0. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a crafted packet with an invalid size value to TCP ports 2512 or 2513. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability presents a severe risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
