CVE-2008-0027 is a critical heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the Certificate Trust List (CTL) Provider service of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and CallManager, affecting versions prior to 4.2(3)SR3, 4.3(1)SR1, and 4.1(3)SR5c respectively. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to trigger a denial of service or execute arbitrary code by sending a crafted, long request. With a CVSS score of 10.0, it represents a severe risk with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
