CVE-2007-4790 describes a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in specific ActiveX controls (FPOLE.OCX and Foxtlib.ocx) found in Microsoft Visual FoxPro 6.0 and various versions of Internet Explorer. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying an excessively long first argument to the FoxDoCmd function. With a CVSS score of 7.5, it is considered highly severe due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and potential for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
