CVE-2007-3796 describes a critical vulnerability in the password reset feature of MailMarshal SMTP 6.2.0.x before 6.2.1, allowing remote attackers to modify arbitrary account information. This is achieved by exploiting SQL buffer truncation due to length inconsistencies when a UserId variable contains excessive trailing whitespace followed by a malicious value.
