CVE-2007-2687 describes a critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the MicroWorld Agent service (MWAGENT.EXE) of MicroWorld Technologies eScan versions prior to 9.0.718.1. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected systems by sending a specially crafted, long command. With a CVSS score of 10.0, indicating complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, this vulnerability is extremely severe and easily exploitable over the network without authentication.
