CVE-2006-6199 describes a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in BlazeVideo BlazeDVD Standard and Professional 5.0, and potentially earlier versions. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying a specially crafted PLF playlist containing an excessively long filename. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is highly severe, requiring no authentication or complex attack vectors, and can lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
