CVE-2006-0752 describes an information disclosure vulnerability in Niels Provos Honeyd before version 1.5. The flaw allows remote attackers to identify simulated IP addresses by observing Honeyd's unique response to malformed IP packet fragments that other IP stacks would drop. With a CVSS score of 5.0 (AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network without authentication, leading to a partial compromise of confidentiality by revealing Honeyd's presence. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this decade-old vulnerability.
