This flaw allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service (application crash) and potentially execute arbitrary code by supplying a specially crafted .amp file containing an excessively long string attribute within the COORDSYS tag. With a CVSS score of 5.0, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over a network with no authentication required, leading to a potential loss of application availability.
