CVE-2005-2371 describes a directory traversal vulnerability in Oracle Reports versions 6.0, 6i, 9i, and 10g. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to overwrite arbitrary files by manipulating the 'desname' parameter with directory traversal sequences, Windows drive letters, or absolute paths. With a CVSS score of 5.0, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, primarily impacting data integrity.
