CVE-2005-1680 describes an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting several D-Link DSL router models (DSL-502T, DSL-504T, DSL-562T, DSL-G604T). Remote attackers can bypass authentication by executing /cgi-bin/firmwarecfg if their IP address is already recorded or if they are the first to access it, causing their IP to be stored. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), indicating a network-based attack with low complexity, allowing for partial confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
