CVE-2005-1307 describes a local arbitrary code execution vulnerability in Adobe Version Cue on Mac OS X. The stopserver.sh and startserver.sh scripts insecurely use the current working directory to locate and execute the productname.sh script. This allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code by placing a malicious productname.sh in a user-controlled directory and then invoking the vulnerable scripts. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.2, indicating high severity with low attack complexity and requiring local access, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
