28
FAUCET Score

CVE-2002-0801 describes a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in the Macromedia JRun 3.1 ISAPI DLL filter. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted, long HTTP host header within a request for a .jsp file. With a CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability presents a severe risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its age and high severity, there is no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code in common frameworks like Metasploit or Nuclei, or significant community discussion or media coverage.
